Query the CGN Core

Create a new query against the CGN Core

Using the selection boxes below, you can build a query for the CGN Core. The queries will be run against the list of active participants in the core. If you find that there are queries you would like to run against the core, but the following form doesn't let you create, please contact us using the contact form linked on the left.

Variables concerning the proband

Please use the following variables to restrict which probands match your search. To select multiple items in the lists below, hold the control key while clicking the selections.

The Core collects birth year for participants. These have been recast into an age, but the ages are ± 1 year.
The Core collects up to five ethnicities for every participant using ACoS and SEER standards for reporting. For the purposes of this tool, the primary ethnicity reported has been mapped into the NIH standard races.
The Core collects up to five "Spanish Hispanic Origin"s for each participant. This is meant to match a question asked in the US Census, and is based on the ACoS and SEER standards. For the purposes of this tool, we have mapped the values of the primary response into the NIH standard "Ethnicity" (ie, "Hispanic") categories.
This corresponds to either Ashkenazi or Eastern European Jewish descent.
How was the proband recruited into the CGN Core.
Has the proband ever been told by their doctor that they have familial polyposis.

Has the proband ever been told by their doctor that they have colon polyps.

Has the proband ever had any of the selected cancers. These cancer groups are summary grouping; the CGN Core tries to collect ICD-O codes (site, histology, and behaviour) for all cancers, although in some cases this data is self-reported.
The general geographic area that the subject was collected in.

You can add restrictions on certain family members having cancer. Queries that use these restrictions may take longer, so please be patient.
